Ghent University Hospital refresher course
Last month Medical Training Tools was delighted to coordinate all training materials—including TD-boxes and veterinary models—for a refresher course organized by the Belgian Group for Endoscopic Surgery (BGES). Conducted by Dr. Stijn Heyman and Dr. Elke van Daele, the hands-on training took place in the Ghent University Hospital (UZ Gent). After an introduction on theory, there was a hands-on session lasting 5 hours with practice in bleeding management, foreign-body removal, and polypectomy.
The session was enjoyed by all, and the participants were enthusiastic about the practical skills they polished and/or acquired.
