Hands-on in the Erasmus School of Endoscopy skills lab: Advanced training for acute endoscopic procedures

On the 6^th of December Erasmus School of Endoscopy (ESE) in Rotterdam organized a second workshop for Acute Endoscopy, in collaboration with Micro-Tech Nederland and Medical Training Tools.

Run by Dr. Arjun Koch, Dr. Paul Didden and Dr. Ramon Michel Schreuder, the workshop was intended for final-year residents or those who had just completed their training.
After initial theoretical instruction on foreign body removal and treatment of complications and bleeding, most of the course involved skills lab training. Each of the 18 participants had ample time for hand-on practice using the Medical Training Tools TD Box and silicone models.
