The TD-Box Station contains the following contents:
Clinical working area:
This is a multifunctional, safe and hygienic area, specifically designed for training. The working area contains two sides for attaching endoscopes (depending on size). It is very easy to clean and has a groove on the left side for the electrocautery cable.
Metal plate:
This plate which is placed in the clinical working area is especially designed for using of all major electrocautery brands (ERBE, BOWA, VALLEYLAB, etc.). The plate is attached directly to the electrocautery cable. The full surface of the metal plate can also be used to fix a monopolar patient plate and thus it can be used to train gross cutting, dissection, blending, desiccation and fulguration. Monopolar is the most commonly used form of electrocautery due to its versatility and effectiveness.
Transparent cover plate:
Used when visibility is required during a training, yet the (animal) material needs to be covered. This cover is easy to clean, allowing for optimal hygiene.
Dark cover plate:
The dark cover is used to simulate the inner body, providing a realistic experience. These have the same hygienic benefits as the transparent cover.
